Set Up Print Alignment in Adobe.

Adobe is amongst the popular thing one could have over their system allowing users to create, see, share and print PDFs. Doesn't matter which tool you are accessing like Acrobat or Reader, you can change the settings of print by opening the main toolbar. Although, Reader doesn't let the users to set the page margin values, so the users have only option of removing page margins or modify the text alignment from the Print Settings. While in Acrobat the users will have to crop the PDF pages. You can do this in Acrobat 9 and Reader 9.

Acrobat:

  1.  Access Adobe Acrobat
  2.  Go to 'File' tab and open the PDF you want to access.
  3.  Choose Crop Pages option after selecting the Document tab. You will see a Crop pages window on your screen. You will also observe both up and down arrow available next to each margin option (left, right, top and bottom) in the Margin Controls section.
  4.  For increasing the margin just click the up arrow button while for decreasing the size click the down arrow. And select 'Set to Zero' button if you want to set each margin to zero.
  5.  Select Print after clicking the File tab. From drop-down menu click Page Scaling and choose your preferred text alignment like 'Multiple pages per sheet, Booklet Printing or Shrink to Printable Area'

Reader:

  1. Access Adobe Reader.

  2. Open your PDF after clicking on the File tab.

  3. Again move the File tab and choose print. You will see a publish window on your screen.

  4. From the drop down menu move Page Scaling option and select amongst the options available- None, Shrink to printable Area or Fit to Printable Area.

  5. If you want to remove the printed margins in your PDF document then move on the File tab and choose publish Setup option. Select your printer device from the drop down menu after the Print Setup menu displays and then click on Properties button. Then check the Paper/ Quality option and mark the box available next to Border less Printing and then click ok.
